Our Story
How It All Began
Morashid grew in Saudi Arabia, a nation that believes in innovation and creativity, a nation that provides its people progress and opportunity, a nation that strives to achieve sustainability and prosperity for a better, flourishing future.
2007
Morashid began as a national invention, earning a patent from King Abdulaziz City for Science & Technology.
2008
Awarded the gold medal at the Korea International Innovation Fair. The prototype was developed in South Korea, and the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz sent a congratulatory telegram to honor the achievement.
2012
Recognized with a certificate and medal for quality innovation by the Saudi Electricity Company.
2014
The second prototype was developed in the United States, alongside the creation of the first mobile application for the device.
2016
Tested at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, achieving a %49 reduction in energy consumption during trials.
2023
The third version of the device was developed and manufactured in China. Production has now shifted to Saudi Arabia, aligning with the Crown Prince’s vision of supporting national industries under the “Made in Saudi” initiative.
2024
Secured third place in the Energy Track at the Fourth Industrial Revolution Exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
